Treatment

First, a topical anesthetic is placed on the skin by your licensed Infinity Medspa and Wellness service provider. This process takes from 25 to 30 minutes. Once the skin is numb, the provider will start the microneedling treatment with the Potenza. Total treatment time from start to finish is usually about one hour.

Number of Treatments Needed

Benefits of the Microneedling can be seen after just one treatment. It is usually recommended that you do 3 to 6 treatments, spaced out between 3 to 4 weeks for the maximum results. Your Infinity Medspa and Wellness service provider will consult with you and prepare a package and regime specifically for your skin type and concern.

Cost of Potenza

Price varies based on how many treatments are purchased. Our licensed service providers will conduct a skin analysis during your complimentary consultation. You will then be given your specific treatment recommendations and come up with a treatment plans based on your wants, needs & budget. You will be provided with an accurate price estimate for your customized treatment plan prior to any treatment.

Pain

A topical anesthetic cream is applied to the treatment area so there is minimal pain during this procedure. If you are experiencing any pain, please communicate with the service provider. The Potenza treatment is 100% customizable with the intensity level of the treatment. This allows the provider to adjust the treatment for you.

Results

As soon as your Potenza treatment has been performed, the tissues will begin the repair process. Most patients will note dramatic improvements in 3 to 4 weeks, however the full benefits from treatment can continue to increase over the following six months.

Pre-Potenza Treatment Instructions

* Stop using retinol products 5 to 7 days before treatment.

* Avoid alcohol consumption 48 hours prior to treatment.

* Avoid sun exposure at least 1 week prior to treatment.

* Discontinue usage of scrubs, chemical exfoliants and exfoliating tools 3 to 5 days prior.

* Disclose to your treatment provider if you have metal in your body before treatment.

Post-Treatment Instructions

WHAT TO EXPECT
• Immediately after your treatment, you will look as though you have a moderate to severe sunburn and your skin may feel warm and tighter than usual for a few hours post treatment.
CLEAN
• Use a gentle,soothing cleanser to wash face for the following 72 hours and gently dry the treated skin. Always make sure that your hands are clean when touching the treated area.
HEAL
• Do not use any additional skincare products for te first 24 hours following your treatment, unless advised by your provider.
MAKEUP
• It is recommended that makeup should not be applied for 24 hours after the procedure. However, your licensed service provider may be able to supply you with specialized mineral makeup product that they feel would be suitable for use during this period. Do not apply any makeup with a makeup brush, especially if it is not clean.
PROTECT
• Avoid all sun exposure for up to 3 days post treatment. Mineral sunscreen is highly recommended. Continue to use sunscreen everyday post procedure.

WHAT TO AVOID
• For 7 to 10 days post treatment, do NOT use any deep exfoliation or retinol products. Soothing and gentle products ONLY!
• Avoid intentional and direct sunlight for one week.
• Avoid exposing the treated area to excessive heat like saunas, hot tubs, hot yoga, etc.
• No exercising or strenuous activity for 24 to 48 hours post-treatment.
• Sweating and gym environments are harmful, rife with bacteria, and may cause adverse reactions.
