Users of ShapeScale step onto the device in tight clothing, and a mechanical arm rotates 360 degrees around your body. The 3D photorealistic image is then uploaded to the ShapeScale app. The scan itself takes less than 1 minute to complete, and the scan is uploaded to your app in less than 5 minutes. This allows you to track your fitness and always have access to your scans on your own smartphone. The process of taking the scan is quick and easy!
Once the scan is visible in the app, you can then see all of your body's statistics as well as the photorealistic 3D scan. The app shows your weight, body fat percentage, BMI, measurements, as well as your shape and health score.
Your shape score is a measurement system that evaluates various factors related to body shape, proportions and symmetry. It provides an assessment of different aspects of a women's physique and assigns a score to indicate the overall shape classification. The health score is a personalized health metric that analyzes the relationship between your weight and waist circumference, taking into account your demographic information, like age and gender. By looking at this relationship, it can give you a better understanding of your overall health and any associated risks. Ranging from 0 to 100, a higher health score is associated with better health outcomes.
My favorite feature of the Shape Scale app is the visual comparison. This will show you exactly what areas have shrunk and visually see your progress. This is a reason why the Shape Scale is so great for CoolSculpting or CoolTone patients. With CoolSculpting, even though you are freezing and breaking down fat cells, it does not necessarily mean you will see a difference in the number on the scale.
